On the feast of the Holy Archangels our community of Fortaleza experienced the great joy of the profession of the first vows of sr. M. Agnes from Santissima Trindade, by sr. M. Catarina do Principe da Paz and fr. Gabriel da Rainha da Paz. The ceremony took place in the church of the Blessed Sacrament and was the result of a great collaboration: our Brazilian communities joined forces and resources for the choir, the liturgy, the decoration of the church and the preparation of the dinner. Some seminarians and a Camillian deacon helped in the Liturgy and other friends collaborated to help in various ways. The church was packed and the ceremony took place with simplicity, fervor and emotion and with the heartfelt participation of all. P. Martino presided over the s. Mass and in the homily he offered reflections and encouragement to live the vocation that has always been in the heart of God and in particular our call to be peace and to intercede for peace. Our sisters and our brother, moved and firm in their purpose, lived every moment with dedication and serenity, aware of the great gift of the vocation and the offering they were making of their life. The choir, prepared and directed by our m. M. Thérèse solemnly accompanied the entire liturgy and was a great help to enter into mystery and prayer. With gratitude, our newly consecrated and all our ecclesial family thank the Lord for this great gift and our sweet Mother who was its mediator.
