Last weekend, on the 5th, 6th, and 7th of April, the XVII Youth Festival took place at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Immaculate Queen of Sertão. This gathering happens twice a year (once per semester) and this time 100 young people from different parishes of the diocese of Quixadá participated. The theme of this celebration was: "Lord, teach us to pray" (Lk 1:11), and this biblical passage was experienced in all moments of the event, through preaching, Holy Masses, Adoration, group sharing, and treasure hunt activities. The Oasis of Peace Marian Community, present in Quixadá, was in charge of organizing the event, along with the Marian Youth, and as always, it was an opportunity for community communion. Throughout the event, one could witness the experience of brotherhood among the young people and the members of the Community. This event was made possible thanks to the generous help of many benefactors who, with their collaboration, made the entire event happen. Our gratitude goes to the Lord and Our Lady Queen of Sertão for pouring out so much love among us in these days.
