From 23 to 28 September, Fr. Martino preached spiritual exercises to the seminarians of the diocese of Acireale (CT). The proposed theme, A treasure in earthen vessels, was presented following three moments of the dynamics of vocation: An encounter that changes life, Path of progressive conversion to the Lord, and Sharing the received gift. Through a careful and original presentation of texts from Sacred Scripture, integrated with testimonies of contemporary men and women of faith, participants were able to listen to the Lord and revisit their calling. Providential within the exercises was the priestly ordination of Fr. Gianluca Franco, a concrete example of sharing the received gift.
